The Fancy Group of Companies is a premier industrial services group based in Karachi Pakistan, with a continued legacy today of over 113 years.

From their origins of trading businesses in East Africa in 1912, they migrated to the new nation of Pakistan in 1947. Under the visionary leadership of Amir Ali H Fancy they quickly established the Group in Pakistan and became instrumental in shaping the country’s early industrial landscape, emerging as one of the pioneers of post-Partition enterprise and development.

The Group has continually evolved over these years to meet the dynamic needs of Pakistan’s growing economy. Over time, it transitioned from a traditional industrial entity into a modern, solutions-focused industrial services group, better positioned to offer integrated value across critical sectors. Today, the Fancy Group is a respected, multi-generational industrial collective known for delivering dependable, scalable solutions—anchored in long-standing values of trust, service, and national progress.

With over 1,000 employees and a deep commitment to operational excellence, the Group operates across a diversified portfolio spanning water treatment chemical manufacturing, designing and manufacturing water treatment equipment, oil & gas, operations and maintenance services, equipment rentals, and food services. An integrated approach across these verticals allows the Group to support the full life cycle of industrial projects, meeting the needs of clients across both the private and public sectors. At the heart of its industrial offering is Chemco, the Group’s flagship company which also represents multi-national groups in Pakistan.

Chemco is a full turnkey provider, delivering in-house specialty chemical manufacturing, automated dosing systems, technical audits, system commissioning, and expertise in large-scale wastewater and sewage treatment equipment and solutions. With strong international partnerships, ISO and FDA (USA) certifications, and engineers registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council, Chemco has the credibility and capability to serve high-demand industries—from textiles, cement, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, hotels, commercial buildings and fertilizers and FMCG’s. While Chemco continues to support systems with technical expertise, the Operations & Management of facilities now falls under FIMS, a separate company within the Group.

Fancy Industrial Management Services (FIMS) is an independent entity responsible for delivering hands-on industrial support and infrastructure services. FIMS manages plant operations, industrial manpower deployment, utilities oversight, and equipment rentals, including RO plants and generators. FIMS also operates an institutional food services division that provides industrial catering and frozen food items tailored for cafeterias, canteens, and food halls. This vertical combines efficiency, food safety, and consistency—supporting both industrial and educational institutions with dependable solutions.

Beyond its industrial and commercial reach, the fourth generation under the stewardship of Amir S. Fancy continues their long-standing commitment to philanthropy, reflecting a deep-rooted legacy of community service. Through both the Fancy Foundation (est. 1960) as well as the Education Trust Nasra Schools ( est. 1949), Amir spearheads their mission of social impact and mobility. The Group expanded its model through Nasra Public Schools (NPS)—a social impact initiative designed to offer quality learning opportunities to urban, working-class families at scale.
